Cooper Ronan is a Berkshire born freelance illustrator and screen print technician living in New York City. He grew up in Great Barrington and attended Monument Mountain Regional High where his art teachers made art an extremely open and accessible outlet for expression. He then went on to study illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York where he was able to tap into an artistic culture that was ever growing and evolving. Although he is still living in New York, he keeps his ties to the Berkshire aria arts scene by working with local businesses and brands like Library Skate Shop and Politic Skateboards. He has also worked with clients such as fashion brand Marni, coffee company Ninth Street Espresso and a synthesizer maker Whimsical Wraps. With all of his work he aims to have a fluid yet simplistic look that he uses to access a certain childhood nostalgia.
